Imprimerie Pacaud – a strong local player with 15 team members and €2.5M in annual revenue – will transfer production to our Libercourt site, while maintaining a local office to stay close to its customers.

Today is a special day for our highly esteemed colleague Hans. After almost 20 years of giving his best to the company, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀. From tomorrow on, he may enjoy his well-deserved retirement! 🎉

Hans was our 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁, a craftsman who, behind his cylinder presses, meticulously ensured the right creasing lines, perfectly cut folders, ideal sticker sheets and so on. And every time we welcomed visitors, he would passionately explain how his machines worked, what exactly a 𝗰𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗼 is, but also about his father who was a miller and how much he felt at home Daddy Kate. 🏠 🤗

Hans wrote a beautiful text for all his colleagues, provided delicious chocolate for everyone and absolutely wanted a few more photos with the Claes family (Heidi Claes, Sandra Claes, Thijs Claes). 😁 He insisted on giving them a golden handshake himself! 🤝 It filled our hearts with joy, and only makes us realize even more that 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆.

Thank you for everything Hans, and enjoy your next phase of life to the fullest! 💛

2024 is nog maar net begonnen, maar de Daddy Kate Group heeft al zijn tweede overname gedaan! Zijn we ambitieus of niet? 😎

4 weken geleden kondigden we de overname aan van ICR in Doornik 🇧🇪. Deze keer breiden we verder uit in Frankrijk 🇫🇷 door de overname van Imprimerie Daniel Faurite in Lyon (Miribel). Deze drukkerij werd opgericht in 1970 en heeft expertise in zowel offset als digitale druktechnologie. De laatste jaren waren niet gemakkelijk voor Faurite, maar nu het deel uitmaakt van onze groep is de continuïteit van het bedrijf gegarandeerd! 💪 Met de 25 mensen die mee de overstap maken, willen we zo snel mogelijk richting €10 miljoen omzet gaan.

"Voor de Daddy Kate Group betekent het niet alleen een geografische uitbreiding, we behouden ook de HUV-technologie ter plaatse," zegt CEO Thijs Claes. "Hierdoor kunnen we grote oplages in offset drukken, die onmiddellijk drogen waardoor de levertijden veel korter zijn. Ook moeilijke soorten papier of PVC-materialen kunnen hiermee worden bedrukt, dus de overname is ook een technologische diversificatie."
