**21 days of printing finished in just 4 days.** 🤯🔥

And somehow, Gojo is already standing!

Everything except the feet has been assembled, glued and reinforced with **staples across the seams**. A completely new method for me, but that's exactly what these big builds are about: trying something new, learning from it, and improving the next one.

Gojo has definitely been a new experience so far. 😅

Now onto the feet, finishing the seams, sanding, priming… and eventually bringing this giant to life. 🎨

The printers were fast.
Now it's my turn to keep up. 🫣

Why do I need **5 different slicers** just to print my life-size statues? 🫣🖨️

Well… when you have **8 printers from 5 different brands**, one slicer simply isn't going to cover everything.

So my computer currently lives with **Bambu Studio, Creality Print, FlashPrint, OrcaSnapmaker and Elegoo Slicer**. Yes, technically that list is already getting dangerously close to more than five. 😂

And when a single life-size build is split across multiple printers, things can get confusing FAST.

That's why I use a **color-coded system + notes** to keep track of every part: what's printed, what's printing, which printer it's on, and what's still waiting in line.

Controlled chaos? Absolutely.
But somehow… it works. 😅🔥

**7 days of printing… squeezed into just 2 days.** 😅🔥

Any guesses how many printers I had running at the same time? And more importantly… **can you guess who I'm building this time?** 👀

I'm also trying a structural upgrade on this life-size build. I'm adding **staples across the seams** before finishing them, giving the connections some extra mechanical strength instead of relying on glue alone.

Big print, big experiment, and apparently absolutely no patience to wait seven days. 😂🖨️

The next month or two are going to be all about finishing some **BIG projects**. 😁🔥

Gojo, Luffy, Cell Jr… and maybe a few more surprises along the way. 👀

Some have been waiting patiently in the studio, others are already well underway, but it’s finally time to turn this growing collection of printed parts into finished builds.

My printers have done their job… now the real work begins. 🫣🎨

🎨 190 jaar Academie, en dat vieren we samen!

Deze zaterdag & zondag gooien we de deuren open. Kom binnen in de ateliers, ontdek workshops, zie leerlingen en leerkrachten aan het werk en spreek ons gerust aan.

🎙️ Zaterdag krijgen we bovendien Podcastkracht over de vloer als special guest. Zij trekken door de Academie voor gesprekken, interviews en alles wat ze onderweg tegenkomen.

Of je nu zelf lessen wil volgen, nieuwsgierig bent naar wat er achter onze deuren gebeurt, of gewoon graag tussen creatieve mensen rondloopt: **kom de sfeer opsnuiven en vier 190 jaar Academie met ons mee!** 🥳

Final stage! ✨ The last coats of **gloss & satin varnish** are going on and these are finally coming together. 🔥

Of course, the heatwave decided to join the project too… 🫠🌡️ With the deadline getting closer, spraying in the studio just wasn’t an option anymore, so the entire finishing setup moved to the colder workshop.

A little improvised, but whatever it takes to get them finished in time! 🤞🎨
