The Zitara series by Four Friends Winery had quietly become something serious. The label hadn't caught up yet.

So The Labelmaker redesigned it. And the artwork landed on our press floor.

Copper & Rose Gold Foil: The striking, oversized "X" is stamped in a brilliant metallic foil. This specific tone harmonizes beautifully with the salmon-pink wine, offering a warmer, more modern touch than classic gold.

How do you translate an 80-year legacy into a single, tactile label? 🍷

For the historic Oriachovitza Winery (established in 1938), we produced a label that balances classic simplicity with modern printing techniques. A true piece of Bulgarian winemaking history with PDO status.

The Canvas: We used a thick, textured paper that echoes classic wine traditions and provides a sophisticated foundation.

The Embellishments: The top features a striking gold-embossed logo (hot foil & embossing), while the bottom reveals a subtle, debossed winery silhouette and frame for a modern tactile dimension.

The Details: Enhanced with volume varnish and crowned by a custom graphite silver capsule with pale brown hues and an embossed winery silhouette.

Today we’re turning up the spice with a look back at our project for chilli.hills and their incredible Honey Mustard with Smoked Chilli. Our challenge was to create a label that felt as bold, rustic, and artisanal as the mustard itself.

Artisanal Texture: We selected a durable, moisture-resistant textured paper that withstands kitchen life while providing a tactile, premium feel.

Debossed Detail: Subtle debossing on the logo and a matte finish perfectly capture the rugged elegance of the brand.

Shelf Standout: This combination of materials and finishes creates an undeniable impact on the shelf, reflecting the complex, smoky flavor within.

A label straight out of an old fairytale book but brought to life with state-of-the-art printing technology. For the Prunus Spinosa wine, we showed what happens when there’s no limits - from a design or print perspective.

- Hot foil stamping: The fine golden outlines around the bird and the berries catch the light, giving the illustration a luxurious depth.

No brief asked for a substrate that doesn't exist yet. No client requested a label cut into the shape of a ship.

But when Albania's first premium sparkling wine needed a label confident enough to stand next to Champagne... ordinary wasn't an option.

So together with the Labelmaker we built something that didn't exist.

Hand-drawn calligraphy.
Bespoke metallic substrate.
