YES! I am still very much in business, but in case you're wondering why I don't post on this page, it's because:

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE USER EXPERIENCE SHOULD ALWAYS BE THE PRIORITY.

Despite the evolution of marketing mediums, the core tenet of customer service has never changed. I choose to prioritize my time and focus on my client's needs.

Social media marketing takes up a lot of time and bandwidth and isn't always the answer for every business model.

So, for now, I'll just leave this here for you to enjoy:

Just goes to show you what a little creativity and ingenuity can do.
So many people think they need to invest and buy all sorts of gear, courses, equipment, etc. in order to be successful, but most of the time that is just fear and procrastination holding you back. The best thing you can do is to just start, just try.
You won't be anywhere near perfect at the beginning, and you may fail or discover it's not something you find fulfillment in, but you have already achieved something many do not by just taking that first leap into building up a new skill.
No success comes without a lot of hard work, effort, time, and drive. It's not about getting rich quick or "overnight", it's about showing up for yourself. You cannot outsource success.
What's a new skill or project that you have always wanted to try but just keep telling yourself: "I'll do it when I have/am/can _______" (fill in the blank)?

Pro tip: Put the human beING in marketING

A lot of wonder how to make more sales or get online reviews, but when was the last time you gave a review? Or purchased from an ad or new business?

What did they do that made you want to take action?

Put yourself in your customer's shoes and work from there.

We're always our own worst critics, rarely is anyone judging you as much as you are judging you. Especially when it comes to social media posts and videos - done is better than perfect!

Dear small business owner,
Don't let scammers use fear tactics to trick you. Keep an eye out for some tell-tale signs of the person being a spam account.
This is a screenshot of an email I received early this morning for example.
Notice how it is from someone with an outlook email address instead of a professional business domain, they have no business website, not even an email signature or last name listed...
I marked it as spam and continued on with my other emails.

They may be getting a ton of negative online reviews (so much so that Yelp had to pause reviews on their page), but, man, are they gonna make out great on selling merch! (Great pivot!) And also, their SEO must be incredible to have beat out the famous hotel chain. I have to admit, Four Seasons is a great name for a landscaping company...

ALOT of businesses feel the need to jump on the social media bandwagon but forget to BE AUTHENTIC!
