Firestick maintenance
Every single one of my subscribers need to begin by unplugging their modem and router for at least 5 minutes. If you have a all-in-one modem and router you only need to unplug just that one for 5 minutes. If you have a separate modem and router you need to unplug both of them for 5 minutes. While they are unplugged you need to go into the settings of your fire stick and force stop then clear the cache on all of the apps installed on the Firestick. This is going to allow your modem to clear its cache and your router to renew the IP address which significantly increases internet connection and speed. Force stopping the apps and clearing the cache that we use frequently, prevents apps from running in the background and helps them connect to the internet and servers for live TV channels a lot faster as well. This is what we call preventative maintenance... you don't wait until the app is messing up and then go crazy trying to figure out what is wrong. Once a week, if you spend 20 minutes at the most out of your day running all of these steps, you will not have these issues. So it is official! This needs to be done like clockwork once a week. Pick a day that you can do it every week and it will make all of our lives a whole lot easier LOL thanks guys!
