O retrato histórico de Art Kane que reuniu 60 lendas do jazz e que reinventaram a música e a liberdade através do som. Desses, Sonny Rollins era, até então, o último músico vivo da imagem.
Hoje, com sua partida, revisitamos dois materiais produzidos durante nossa participação, em 2017, em um projeto independente que mais tarde viria a se chamar Samadhi Road.
Na época, o projeto reunia entrevistas com grandes nomes da música, pensadores e criadores que dedicaram suas vidas a investigar algo que vai muito além da obra: a própria experiência humana.
Sonny era um desses seres raros. Um músico monumental, mas também uma mente inquieta, profunda, silenciosamente revolucionária. Seu saxofone não apenas atravessava melodias, mas também atravessava o tempo.

The historic portrait by Art Kane that brought together 60 jazz legends, artists who reinvented music and freedom through sound. Among them, Sonny Rollins was, until now, the last living musician in the photograph.
Today, with his passing, we revisit two pieces created during our participation in 2017 in an independent project that would later become known as Samadhi Road.
At the time, the project brought together interviews with great musicians, thinkers, and creators who dedicated their lives to investigating something that goes far beyond the work itself: the human experience.
Sonny was one of those rare beings. A monumental musician, but also a restless, profound, and quietly revolutionary mind. His saxophone did not merely move through melodies, it moved through time itself.
