The Obama Administration has won a major battle against the GOP in their lengthy battle concerning Affordable Healthcare. Now some six to seven million Americans that stand to lose with regards to healthcare benefits can now rejoice. For them healthcare is an affordable reality.

Here in the Bahamas we are waiting for the introduction of our health care system to roll out so that Bahamians who cannot afford health care will be able to benefit from such an initiative.

We all agree that the cost of healthcare here in the Bahamas is very high and can only be afforded by a select few...We desperately need our own National Health Care Delivery System to take care of the health of our citizens.

I am involved with a company in Texas that assist with making health care affordable in the USA, by providing discount medical services. It is Not an Insurance plan but it does it job by saving Americans huge sums of money on health care. Can you imagine that you can get a plan from $19.00 per month to cover your entire household and the household does not have to be family but a mixture of family friends etc. the key factor is that they live under the same roof.
