POSITION: COUNTRY SALES MANAGER
MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION: BACHELOR OR EQUIVALENT
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5-8 YEARS IN FOOD AND BEVERAGE DISTRIBUTION

This is a foodservice distribution position. The Sales Manager will supervise the development of the company in The Bahamas on all aspect of sales, marketing, logistics and distribution.
Ideal Profile The ideal profile for this role is an experienced wholesale executive, with knowledge in the international background, but deep knowledge of The Bahamas market.
Food And Beverage retail distribution in the region is a very strong plus.
Job Description
• Participate in setting up a development strategy and business plan for The Bahamas with the Americas Headquarters
• Maximize long term profitable volume growth of brands for the group within the managed territory
• To explore and fully develop the market potential of the managed territory, build benchmark capabilities of the business
• To protect and enhance the global brand image and reputation of the company's products
• Meet and exceed volume, operating profit, and market share objectives for the Territory
• Collaboratively work with the Marketing, Operations, Technical and Finance functions within the Territory
• Develop written Annual Business Plan for each Distributor containing volume, distribution and performance objectives (by brand) as specified in their individual Distributor agreements
• Responsibility to ensure Distributor alignment and commitment
• Distributor visits to include quarterly training, inventory control and monthly order reviews to ensure adequate distributor inventory. Build the capabilities of direct reports
• Develop/prepare sales presentation materials for Distributor and retail accounts, utilizing computer equipment and skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
• Implement and execute processes and procedures to ensure interactive channels for communication and feedback
• Manage the punctual analysis and reporting of results within the Territory
• Effective open communications with the Distributor(s) to communicate the latest company standards, share information and best practices, identify common issues, and agree resolutions
• Work with Distributor to ensure the company's products quality standards are in place throughout the value chain
• Identify key marketing strategies and share with marketing function so as to enable the Territory achieves their business plans
• 5-8 years of work experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry at senior sales and management levels Cross-functional experience in some of the following areas is essential: Sales Management, Distribution & Logistics, Finance, Strategic Planning and Consumer Marketing

• Previous experience appreciated: Cadbury-Schweppes, Kraft Foods, P&G, Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Redbull, Kellogg's, Frito-Lay, Mars, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle, Yum, Glaceau, Zico or similar.
• Previous titles appreciated: Country Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, General Manager.
