Field Safety Coordinator (On-Call)

Position
• Must live in or near the Bahamas (Freeport, Abaco or Bakers Bay)
• Must have Construction, Restoration and/or Roofing experience
• Hourly Rate: $20-$30 (DOE)

I. Background Requirements:
Education/Experience

• High School Diploma
• Current First aid/CPR training
• OSHA 10
• OSHA 30 is a plus
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations for Construction, Fall Protection & PPE
• Knowledge and experience with HSE programs such as aerial/scissor lift, forklift, working at elevated heights, personal fall arrest systems, fatigue management, heat stress, etc.
• CSP. ASP, CSHO, or CSST a plus

II. Knowledge and Skills:
• Ability to travel for extended periods of time
• Work an On-Call schedule which may require late evenings, early mornings and weekends to include long extended hours without much notice
• Good driving record (for insurability purposes to drive a company vehicle and as a representative of the company)
• Ability to get in and out and drive a vehicle for most of the workday
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a hazardous environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
