Soneva Jani, the iconic over-water resort in the Maldives’ Noonu Atoll, celebrated the Asia premiere of 'Children of Shanghai' with a private screening at Cinema Paradiso on May 17, 2023.
Narrated by British Adventurer, Bear Grylls, the documentary tells the tales of the first fostered children in China whose lives were dramatically changed thanks to the Care for Children charity. The event was hosted by Chinese singer-songwriter G.E.M. Gloria Tang Tsz Kei, a passionate patron who also donated a portion of proceeds from her latest record to the charity.

Drawing inspiration from the prescient wisdom of His Majesty The King of Bhutan on conservation of natural and cultural heritage, Snowman Race aspires to bring the world’s attention to climate change, one of the defining issues of our time, and its impacts, particularly on the lives of people living in fragile mountain ecosystems.
Running through 203KM of Himalayan wilderness, and multiple peaks summiting 5470m, the Snowman Race follows a historic high-altitude trekking route of Snowman Trek that has been conquered by fewer people than Mt. Everest.
