“HAPPY GREEN COOPERATIVE”
Rationale: Considering the current youth employment problems in our country, we feel that it is imperative for the youth to take the initiative in looking for venues of creating employment opportunities. Therefore, as a first step towards gainful employment and motivation of the many youth in the country we would like to pioneer this venture. It is registered under the D
epartment of Agriculture Marketing and Cooperatives, Ministry of Agriculture and Forest, Thimphu Bhutan. Guided by the simplest principle of Common ownership and & individual workmanship our cooperative’s manifesto or the goal is to establish a high quality sustainable employment and foster goodwill and motivation amongst the youth. We have chosen to achieve this by undertaking green ideas and solutions and through this cooperative we expect to inculcate a sense of value and pride in our members; by optimum utilization of their skills, talents, knowledge and its benefit to the larger society. Further, this program will also enable in contributing towards youth poverty alleviation and thus generating economic and social happiness thereby contributing to Gross National Happiness - the most noble vision of our beloved 4th Druk Gyalpo, King Jigme Singye Wangchuk. Our prayers’; We would like to solicit your kind and generous support in any manner as we are still a baby cooperative. Sir/madam, in case if there is/are any activities of your organization that will be of help to us; or opportunities and areas where we can participate please do kindly include us too.
