🧹⚽ Football Beyond the Pitch, Leadership in Action. Of late, we have witnessed a growing number of football teams across the Chobe District taking an active role in cleaning and protecting our environment.
These initiatives may seem simple, but they carry a powerful message: sport is not only about what happens on the field—it is also about the kind of community we build beyond it.
The efforts by teams such as Chobe United Sporting Club, Ferry Wanderers, Kachikau Vultures to mobilise players, supporters and community members for environmental clean-ups are a commendable example of leadership, responsibility and community spirit.
This is pure leadership in action. 👏🏾
We encourage more sporting teams, clubs, schools, businesses and community organisations to follow this example. Our athletes are role models, and when they lead by example, they inspire the entire community to take responsibility for our surroundings.
