ELECTRONIC BUS ADVERTISING AND TELEVISION – DETAILED EXPLANATION
This initiative was inspired by the long hour’s buses travel without any form of entertainment provision for customers/clients. We found the need to transform the travel industry from being just the traditional ferrying business but a business that goes an extra mile in catering for its customer’s entertainment along the journey to ease the travelling boredom.
Bus television will be providing entertainment for the customers throughout the entire journey. The content to be played in buses screens is about and not limited to inspirational video clips from TED TALKS an international organization that profiles people who thrived against adversities to become success stories in life thus giving customers hope, sporting clips, music videos, movies and comedy clips.
The bus television channel will provide a marketing platform for local artists by donating a slot for artist profiling and videos therefore enhancing their popularity even in the far remote areas that can only be reached through public transport. The purpose of the initiative is to enhance a selfless relationship between the service provider and the clients by going beyond just ferrying customers from one destination to the other. Advertisements make up 20% of the content playing in the channel leaving 80% exclusively for entertainment for bus customers/clients hence the title television bus advertising.
