📚 BOOK DONATION DRIVE 📚

We’re collecting gently used books to help raise money for Jumpstart! ❤️

If you have books around the house that you’ve already enjoyed, we’d love to give them a second life while supporting a great cause. We’re accepting:
✨ Children’s books
✨ Novels & bestsellers
✨ Cookbooks
✨ Puzzles & activity books
✨ Pretty much anything in good condition!

Every donated book will help us raise funds for Jumpstart, helping kids access sports and recreation opportunities they may not otherwise have. 🏒⚽🏀

Donations can be dropped off at the Antigonish Canadian Tire retail store at 133 Church Street (in the mall).

Today, we pause to recognize the dedication, sacrifice, and resilience of all first responders.

To our firefighters, police officers, paramedics, dispatchers, EMO staff, and DNR staff, along with every partner agency—thank you for standing ready every hour of every day. Your commitment keeps our communities safe, supported, and protected through every call, every challenge, and every unknown.

We also extend our deepest appreciation to the families, partners, and loved ones who support our members behind the scenes. Your strength makes our service possible.

Did you know the Town's Electric Utility has been in operation for nearly 100 years? As we approach the 100th anniversary, we're on the lookout for your memories and keepsakes from over the years. Whether it's photographs, stories, or artifacts, we want to hear from you!

Did someone you know play a role in the development of our electric utility back in the mid 1920s? Or perhaps you have a unique story to tell about how it's shaped our community over the decades? We ask you to help us put together a visual story that reflects the history of Antigonish.
