rella of multimedia is possible. We have created books, board games, posters, planners, book markers and a huge volume of print work. We have also created many software programs like alphabet interactives, math interactives and a vast array of other projects made for various software companies. Ganica has created many sites. Most of the web site work has come from referrals from past clients. How long does it take for a design to be completed? The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client. Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting? No, we can do everything for you, but If you so wish to search for an available domain name we would recommend using Network Solutions. Is cheap web hosting ok to use? Low cost hosting allows new companies to start a website without making a large investment. It's just like the old saying you get what you pay for. How do I prepare for a project I want developed? The ideal thing to do is to create a concept on paper or on your computer and have it ready for presenting to the design team. Keep in mind that the developer needs to have a clear pitcture of what you want created. How do I pay for my project? In most cases contracts open with 35 percent down payment, 35 percent at half way point of the project and 30 percent on completion of the project. We accept cheque, wire transfers, Visa, Master Card and American Express. Do we need to meet in person? Ganica has clients hundreds of miles away and some are even in different countries. All we need to make your project a success is information or your concept. We can talk on the phone, send emails, fax or you could even use snail mail. Rest assured your project would receive the same high quality designing that all my other distant clients have enjoyed for years. What's a content management system (CMS)? A content management system is software that keeps track of every piece of content on your Web site, much like your local public library keeps track of books and stores them. Content can be simple text, photos, music, video, documents, or just about anything you can think of. Can I look after my own site once you have designed it? we will provide Content Management Training so that you have the knowledge of up-keeping your own new CMS site. If you can use Microsoft Word, then you can edit and change your website content with ease. It's that simple.
