As a team full of dog lovers, fur baby parents, and people who proudly call Aurora our home, the heartbreaking loss of Heiniu has left us shaken to our core. 🥺💔
What happened was not just “an incident.” A family lost a beloved companion. A community lost its sense of safety and trust. And so many of us have been left carrying heartbreak, anger, confusion, and grief.
As a team, we couldn’t stay silent.
In memory of Heiniu, Team Socialistas came together to create this hand-drawn illustration as a small act of love, remembrance, and awareness.
Because behind every headline is a heartbeat. A family. And a dog who was deeply loved.
We stand for compassion.
We stand for accountability.
We stand for better.
And today, we stand 4 paws down with Heiniu. 🐾💔
To Heiniu’s family, loved ones, and everyone affected by this tragedy: we are sending you so much love during an unimaginable time. Aurora is grieving with you.
No animal deserves fear in their final moments.
No family deserves unanswered questions.
And no community should have to beg for humanity, compassion, and transparency.
