In full transparency, I'm here to admit that I cry watching movies. 🙋‍♀️ Easily. I can be watching a movie with my kids and I'll be getting emotional. 😂

But I'm a creative person and I love drawing inspiration from everywhere around me. Colourful birds make me want to paint something. Witnessing the love between a father and child make me want to write something tortured and poetic.

And it was in said kids movie, that a line was spoken and happened to jolt me with motivation.

"You're as ready as you need to be." 💣

Just this morning in a chat with my mentor through this entrepreneurship journey said, "You don't need confidence to get started. You just need courage."

So that's it. Let's go. You're as ready as you need to be.🤠

Ya’ll. Golfing looks easy, right? I’m not the only one that thought that?
SPOILER: It is not.
You know that girl you’ve seen swinging and missing, over and over again, generally looking kind of crazy and you’re thinking, “Is she okay? I’m worried.” That was me you saw. I was that girl. 😂 It’s okay though. I had a great time anyway and have now added "Become a proficient golf player" to my bucket list.

Therefore, I’ve earned the right to impart my wisdom. So as not to catch you swinging and missing.

A small thing I want to talk about called Messaging.

You’ve got an offer. Awesome start. You’ve got your audience (and if you don’t, you’ve got bigger problems) but the way you DELIVER your offer can make the distinct difference in whether it will appeal to a buyer or not. Your audience needs to be specific and you’re message to that audience needs to be relevant. It needs to resonate with them. Guarantee it'll be a flop otherwise. Just sayin. 💁‍♀️

Let me give you a small exercise to help you envision your messaging.

Put on the shoes of your ideal customer/client and walk around a bit. What do their trenches look like? What struggles are they having? What’s their biggest time suck? Their biggest money suck? What are their goals? Like, get really specific. What do they want their life to look like in three months or a year? How will your offer change their life? How will NOT accepting your offer change their life? On and on. Now, speak to that. Something I can most definitely help you with by the way! 😉

There’s SO many points of inspiration you can draw from your perspective client if you take a moment to connect with them.
Side bonus of this exercise? Investment. You’ve now mentally invested in improving the life of anyone who comes across your offer. That’ll make what you’ve got to give all the more powerful.

That middle of the week drone mode can be real sometimes, you know what I mean? The smell of burnout a touch too close.

Personally, I'm all about the lists. They keep my head on straight. So I take a breath, and just do. one. thing. Just one. Even if it's just to brush my teeth! 😂Yes, between me and you, I put that on my to-do list, otherwise, it gets over run with other things.

ADS – we love em and hate em am I right?

In actuality, ads can be helpful, relevant and convenient. Not to mention thousands of entrepreneurs, online and local businesses alike, make a living and can be extremely successful with social media advertising.
..When they’re done correctly!

So what’s the problem with a lot of ads that you see scrolling through your feed?

Take, take, take.

They just want an opt-in of some sort accompanied by some fantastical story-telling and then there’s rarely any quality follow-up. Or if there IS follow-up, they’re spamming you to death with things you don’t care about. Before you know it, your feeds full of similar “look at my shiny stuff” ads.

Hello? Nobody cares!

But if you’re looking to put something meaningful out there, it can be difficult! Where do you start? 99% of the training available teaches these same things – take, take, take.

What really works?

Relationship! We need wooing and swooning but also compassion and care. Nurturing! Most ads are aggressive and pushy and are not designed with the customer journey in mind or to build a relationship.

What does this look like in the world of social media advertising? Making videos, interaction, personable posts. And the good news is that the Facebook™ and Instagram™ platforms make it easy to run ads that don’t feel like ads. To run ads that provide VALUE to the customer.

Trust me, this will be far more effective in helping with sales than anything else!
