Consistent ads across print and digital mediums designed for PureVision Window Cleaning.
They came to me with an urgent request for an ad that needed to go to print within a few hours.

At the time, they didn’t have defined branding and had been handling design on their own. Using my lightweight-foundations-kit we quickly clarified the essentials of their business and set a clear visual direction. Since then, each new ad has followed the same system across multiple touchpoints. The result is a brand presence that feels cohesive, professional and trustworthy, building recognition wherever it appears.

While the lightweight-foundations-kit doesn’t replace a complete brand strategy, it is a practical option for small businesses that need clarity quickly and want their design to create compounding brand value within real-world constraints.

A gift certificate that is as soft and welcoming as Renew Restore Revive Massage Therapy Clinic .

With each step the clinic is fleshing out its new identity. In sync with all their other assets that now not only convey their utility more efficiently, but also carry the values and voice of RRR. They no longer function in isolation. Each one reinforces the brand alongside its primary purpose.

This means a service advertisement is no longer just advertising a service. A gift certificate, a business card or an email signature now also communicates the unique brand behind it. Over time, as these assets are seen repeatedly, their value compounds and strengthens brand recognition.

Professionally executed branding instantly gets you recognized as a professional and an expert. It is a sure way to stand out from the competition. It is your spokesperson that silently does the work with each piece of collateral.

Collateral design is one of my favourite things to do because after all the strategic decisions are made it boils down to layout design (which has its own strategy). What I love about this is that I get to use my visual sense of layout design instead of my thinking head, it is essentially the same thing as photography.

My first SIGNAGE project is up and drawing traffic at Renew Restore Revive Massage Therapy Clinic, Barrhead! 😇

The clinic, nestled in a cozy cul-de-sac location, was in urgent need of signage as its clients couldn't easily locate the clinic. During the initial meeting it became clear that it was time for transformation for Renew Restore Revive after having been in business for 15 long years!

We developed RRR’s brand identity through a focused process of defining its core fundamentals. The new visuals reflect the brand’s key traits: calm, professional, and welcoming.

The first touchpoint to speak RRR's custom language was the signage - the storefront sign, the parking signs, and the front display of the clinic.

Signage isn’t just about visibility — it’s often the first impression your business makes. When it’s done right, it builds trust before anyone even walks through the door.

I remember my heart singing with joy when Danni, the owner, exclaimed, "I LOVE IT!" on seeing the design.

My first print project — sent out to over 1,300 homes in Barrhead!

This was an urgent-basis “grand opening” mailer for Dr. Eric Weiss, an acupuncturist and herbalist with 30+ years of experience, to help introduce his new clinic to the town.

He later said, “It jumpstarted my practice in our new location. It was, by far, the most successful marketing I have done.”

Even though Dr. Eric didn’t have an existing brand, I asked a few key questions and built a simple branding kit that now gives him a consistent foundation — something he can carry into future materials or expand into a full identity later.
The design balances the calm, traditional side of Asian medicine with a vibrant and modern look.

Strategic and consistent design builds clarity, trust, professionalism and recognition.
What a satisfying feeling to see my work make such a tangible impact!

I learnt that my last ad-design post was mistaken for an actual advertisement rather than a personal post. While it's flattering that the design is that convincing, to help clarify, I've created a mock-up to distinguish it more clearly.
Trying something different this time: a touch of animation! I'd love to know your thoughts on it.

Being a photography-enthusiast turned graphic designer, I wanted to convey my design expertise in combination with my photography. So, I decided to create a "poster" for small screen sizes.
I wished to convey aesthetics through layout, imagery, white space, color palette, typography and visual heirarchy.

Like the previous post, this photo was made by the canals of Amsterdam as we waited for our 90 minutes boat-drive that took us around the city. It is a perfect way to get to know the city and its history in such a short time while enjoying a romantic ride with your beloved.

Bikes, canals, old architecutre and cafes full of character; What a charming city - Amsterdam!

I made use of AI to expand the photo, making it fit the size that the post dimension needed.
