Our fresh look now proudly features two of the most impawssible-to-resist faces: Austin the dapper Boston Terrier and Stella the sassy Chihuahua. 🐕🐩 Yup, they’re the cool canines that inspired our name, and now they’re front and center of our brand! 🎉

Branding, logo and menu design for a fictional quirky café whose corporate customers think outside the box and value creativity and culture. The menu design is kept simple with a contemporary grid structure and easy-to-read typeface that allows the food to speak for itself. At the same time, the unconventional logo design gives the menu personality.

Piece of Mind is a fictional snack food company specializing in allergen-friendly products free from common allergens like gluten. The purpose of the ad is to show that customers allergic to sweet treats can enjoy allergy-friendly chocolate without worries, with a joyful and inviting tone appealing to both children and parents.

I used Firefly to generate the illustration of the boy using the prompt “boy eating a chocolate candy bar; smiling with chocolate smeared all over his mouth; funny.” I imported it into Photoshop and utilized generative AI within Photoshop to modify the scarf and chocolate bar. I cleaned up the image using various tools and added the Piece of Mind logo to the chocolate bar. To further refine the image, I removed the background, replaced the original eyes with eyes drawn using Illustrator and used brush tools to make the final adjustments.

I could have drawn the boy myself, but it would have taken me a long time. Since this was a student project and was nearing the due date, I utilized AI to speed up the design process. As long as we're transparent about using it, AI can help our creativity and productivity as designers. It's a good starting point!
