So a bit of a close call. We had an attempted break in. Thankfully, everything is OK. They didnt make it inside. the double pane, the anti shatter film, glass break sensors all played their part and protected us from this shear senseless violation. Add to this...we are away on vacation! The shear panic we woke up to, so far from home is a feeling I wouldn't wish on anyone. Shout out to our neighbors -Annie, Cindy our building manager, Steve at Bell Farm Laundry and that mobilized to help us out.

Now for a rant! 25 yrs. 25yrs we've been in business, this getting ridiculous, Barrie. 7 break.ins just on Bell Farm Rd in the last 2 weeks. I understand the social issues society is facing right now, but what are we supposed to do when the sanctity of our livelihood, our property, our safety is threatened? How do we go back to feeling safe in our own town?

It is the feeling of being violated, angry, hurt. But also grateful for all the wonderful people we have in our lives.

I still believe in you Barrie! Get your s**t together.
