The keyword with the highest search volume in your industry is probably the worst one to build your SEO strategy around.

High-volume keywords attract people at the beginning of the research process. They're exploring, comparing, and not ready to act. The competition for those terms is high, the conversion rate is low, and ranking for them rarely moves revenue.

The keywords that actually convert are usually longer, more specific, and tied to clear intent. Someone searching "digital marketing agency Barrie" is further along than someone searching "digital marketing." Both are real searches. Only one is likely to lead to a call.

At Digital Giants, we build SEO strategies around search intent and conversion potential, not just traffic volume.

Before a potential client visits your website, they've already seen your Google Business Profile.

Reviews, photos, business hours, unanswered questions- it's all there, forming an impression before a single click. For most local and service businesses, the GBP listing is the real first impression.

Most are set up once and never touched again.

Swipe through to see what that costs you, then DM us, and we'll review your GBP and give you honest recommendations on what's costing you leads.

A lot of ad budgets aren't underperforming because of the targeting. They're underperforming because of what happens after the click.

The ad does its job. It generates interest, earns the click, and gets someone to your site. That's actually the easy part.

What most businesses get wrong is where they send that traffic. A homepage. A general services page. A page that looks nothing like the ad that got them there.

The landing page is where the conversion happens, or doesn't. Message match, a single clear action, and a reason to act now matter more than a lower cost per click.

At Digital Giants, we build paid strategies that don't stop at the ad. We look at the full path from click to conversion.

Most businesses optimize one page at a time and wonder why the rankings don't move.

Google doesn't rank pages in isolation. It evaluates how your content connects, how topics relate, how pages link to each other, and how clearly your site signals that it's an authority on a subject.

A single well-optimized page sitting inside a disconnected site architecture is like a strong employee in a disorganized company. The individual performance doesn't compensate for the system around it.

The businesses seeing real SEO results aren't just writing better content. They're building better site structures.

At Digital Giants, we build SEO strategies around architecture and topical authority, not just keywords and page counts.

Demographics tell you who your customer is. Psychographics tell you why they buy. ๐ŸŽฏ
Most businesses build their entire marketing strategy around age, location, and income, and wonder why their campaigns feel generic.

The sharpest marketing speaks to what your buyer fears, what outcome they're chasing, and what makes them finally hit contact. That's the shift that changes everything.

Your bounce rate is not the metric you think it is. ๐Ÿ“Š

In GA4, a bounce means a user left your site in under 10 seconds without clicking anything. But a fast exit isn't always a bad thing.

๐Ÿ“ž A visitor who finds your phone number in 5 seconds and closes the tab to call you? That's a GA4 bounce.
๐Ÿ“ A visitor who checks your store address in 4 seconds and leaves? That's a bounce too.

High bounce rate on a quick-info page or local landing page? Probably completely fine, they got their answer instantly.

High bounce rate on a long-form blog post? That means people are leaving almost instantly without reading, which is definitely worth investigating.

Context is everything in analytics. The businesses making the best decisions aren't the ones with the most data; they're the ones asking the right questions.

Stop collecting testimonials. Start deploying them. ๐Ÿ‘€

Most businesses have great social proof sitting on a page nobody visits. Meanwhile, visitors are landing on your homepage, scrolling your services, and making trust decisions, without ever seeing it. The fix isn't more testimonials. It's smarter placement. Put your proof where the decision happens and watch your conversions change. ๐Ÿ’ก

The most useful moment in the business calendar isn't the start of the year. It's the middle of it.
January planning happens with assumptions. June reviews happen with evidence. The difference matters, and most businesses don't take full advantage of it.

Three questions worth answering honestly before July begins:
- What's working that you can't yet explain? When something performs well, the instinct is to scale it. The discipline is to understand it first. Repeating an outlier isn't strategy.
- What's underperforming that you've been excusing? Most underperforming initiatives don't fail in one month. They erode quietly across several, propped up by reasons that sounded valid at the time. Mid-year is the moment those reasons get tested.
- What did you assume in January that you can now disprove? Plans built on assumptions need a checkpoint. Six months of real data is enough to confirm what was right and surface what wasn't.

The businesses that finish the year strongest aren't the ones who plan hardest in January. They're the ones who adjust honestly in June.

A stat from the 2026 B2B Buyer Behaviour Report worth sitting with: 72% of B2B buyers now encounter Google's AI Overviews during their research. 90% of buyers who see a citation in an AI Overview click through to at least one cited source. The implication for SEO is significant, and most businesses haven't recalibrated yet.

For most of SEO's history, the goal was ranking. Page one, top three, ideally position one. That model assumed buyers were scanning a results page and clicking the most relevant link. In an AI-first search environment, that assumption is breaking down.

The new top of the funnel is the AI-generated summary that now appears above the traditional rankings. Buyers read it first. They form an initial shortlist from it. And when they do click through, they overwhelmingly click on the sources the AI cited, not the sources ranked beneath it.

What this changes in practice:
โ€” Content needs to be structured for AI extraction, not just human reading
โ€” Topical authority and clear citations matter more than keyword density
โ€” Schema, structured data, and source credibility now influence visibility in ways they didn't two years ago
โ€” Being mentioned across credible third-party sources increases the likelihood of being cited
The businesses adapting early are showing up in AI summaries across their categories. The ones still optimizing strictly for traditional rankings are losing share of voice without it appearing in their analytics.

The question has shifted. It's no longer are you ranking for the right terms? It's Are you the source AI cites when buyers search them? If your traffic is stable but your visibility feels like it's slipping, this is likely why.
