I’m currently wrapped up in a blanket, watching the snow glisten outside my window. The birds are puffed up on the branches beside my feeder, and my dog and cat have each found a cozy spot to cuddle up. The house is quiet, and my heart is full.

Winter brings out a reflective spirit in me. I often find myself combing through the happenings of past seasons, reminiscing on good times (and, if I’m being honest, warmer days 😅). Today, my thoughts keep drifting back to the honour of photographing my best friend and her family. I can still hear her girls’ giggles as they twirled and skipped, and I’m reminded of the beautiful energy and connection that her family carries. After our session, we sat on my porch and had a glass of wine in the warm autumn sun 😌

These are the moments that stay with me, reminding me why I love capturing memories and returning to them whenever I need a little warmth ✨

As a photographer, it’s fun to jump in front of the camera every now and then, usually in a mad dash to the photobooth, throwing on whatever ridiculous hat or feather boa I can find. Zero regrets!!

This past weekend I had the privilege of capturing special moments from the 104.7 2day FM Father Daughter Ball 🥹

I can definitely see why this event sells out within minutes every year! Dozens of fathers and daughters poured in, dressed to the nines, ready to dance the night away. My daughter heart was fluttering the entire time 🤣

This night will no doubt be a core memory for so many, and one they’ll carry with them for a lifetime.

Here I am now, sorting through thousands of photos, smiling like a Cheshire cat, and wiping the occasional tear away 🥹😭

Anyone else catch a serious case of fall fever this time of year? The spicy lattes start sneaking their way into my cup, my wardrobe turns into a palette of autumn tones, and I’m out the door...latte in one hand, camera in the other, chasing all the golden light I can find 😍

And just like that…it’s gone. So......BRB. I'll be hiding in a hole relying on dreamy scenes like this to keep me warm 😒

Happy Thanksgiving, friends 🍂🦃😍 I hope your hearts are as full as your bellies 😋

This year, Jay and I did the Thanksgiving powerlifting by hosting both of our families, and I loved every minute of it. There’s something so special about having everyone under one roof; the laughter in the kitchen, the quick hugs and shoulder pats as dinner comes together, and the way the house transforms into a home filled with new memories. As a couple in the midst of finishing building our home, this means a lot to me 🥹

Wishing you all a beautiful Thanksgiving surrounded by your favourite people 🧡
