Prince Edward Collegiate Institute High School Carnival Poster

For this project, I was asked by a friend from my high school who was on students council. They wanted me to design a poster that they could display to pitch their idea at a meeting. Their idea was not chosen but I had received positive feedback from my friend about what everyone thought of it. It was created using photoshop. I used the school's colors, a frame with stars, a starburst pattern and different types of fonts in order to make it look like an old-fashioned carnival poster.

Amazon Oasis

The objective of this project was to create a logo for an up in coming jungle themed indoor playground. I started out by sketching up different logo designs. I then sent the designs to the client so that she could decide which one she wanted. When she made her choice, she ended up liking two different logos, so I designed the two logos that she liked into Adobe Illustrator. I then send the designs back to the client for her final decision. In the end, the client decided to keep both logos one for promotional use and another as a wall decal for her walls.

Smoke-Free Environmental Sign

The project’s goal was to produce an environmentally friendly sign of no smoking. I started by generating various design thoughts and then using Adobe InDesign & Adobe Illustrator to create them. I then send my designs to the client so that she could make a decision on which ones she wanted. Finally, she decided to go with the sign with the two white circles with the white stem and leaves on a green background.

GLI Promotions Facebook & Instagram Post Images

The objective of this project was to create seven Facebook post images & seven Instagram post images to promote their business. I began using Adobe InDesign to produce the post image layouts, then I add in background pictures, logos and the taglines for each of them. Finally, I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the background images to ensure they stand out. This was one of the first projects I did for GLI Promotions.

Mike’s Fries Chipmunk

The goal of this project was to create a sticker of an illustrated chipmunk holding a French fry for Mike’s Fries, a food truck company. I began by drawing up a rough sketch of a chipmunk holding and taking a bite out of a french fry. Then I used Adobe Illustrator to draw my sketch in digital form. After a few modifications as requested by the client, they were satisfied with the overall outcomes.

Diane's Hair Salon is a hair salon located in Frankfort, ON. The objective of this project was to create a logo. I started by sketching up different logo designs. I then sent the designs to the client so that she could make her decision on which one she wanted. When she finally made her decision, I then used Adobe Illustrator to design the logo. In the end, the client ended up loving it.

Atkinson Home Hardware is a Canadian home improvement, construction materials, paint products, equipment rental, hunting equipment and furniture retailer store located in Hartington, ON and Kingston, ON. The objective of this project was to create six post images to promote their business for their page. I start out by using Adobe InDesign to create the post images layouts in a clean and simple design that are perfect for promoting products, offers, and brands. Finally, I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the background images to make sure they appeared and stand out in good quality.

Raxx Bar & Grill is a famous billiards and live music restaurant that is located in Kingston, ON. They have also played host to many rock bands such as Rain Kings, Growing Pains, The Change, Jim Patterson Band, to even The Tragically Hip. The objective of this project was to create six post images for their page to promote their business. I started out by using Adobe InDesign to create the layouts of the post images, then I add in the tagline’s and logos for each the post image. Finally, I edited the background images using Adobe Photoshop to make sure that they stand out.

Marbelle is a financial service company located in Belleville, ON that specializes in real estate purchases, refinances, debt consolidation, commercial financing and all types of mortgages including purchases, refinances, equity takeouts, debt consolidations, renewals and mortgages for self-employed. The goal of this project was to create six new Facebook post images and banners for promoting business on their page. I began by creating the layouts using Adobe InDesign, then I typed in the taglines and added in the logos for the post images. Lastly, I used Adobe Photoshop to edit background images to ensure that they stand out in various design styles.

Ontario Truss & Wall is a company that builds floor joists, roof trusses & pre-manufactured wall panels for residential, commercial and agricultural sectors. They are also a recurring client of R***e Design. For each project, they requested six new Facebook post images to promote their business. I started by creating layouts using Adobe InDesign, then typing in the taglines and adding the logos of the post images. Lastly, I used Adobe Photoshop to edit background images to ensure that they stand out in various design styles. When I was at R***e Design, I made a total of thirty Facebook posting images for Ontario Truss & Wall.
