Where to even begin !
This weekend was full of fun, laughter, growth, and empowerment amongst women. To say I had the best time in a long time is a complete understatement.
First and foremost I want to thank my family for the endless support and encouragement throughout this crazy endeavour back into the pageant world. A huge thank you to my coach Madison Kvaltin for being there for me before and throughout the pageant weekend. Also Emma Morrison for the last minute video call to make sure I was ready to hit the runway with confidence and all the laughs over the weekend.
This whole experience would not be possible without the hard work and dedication from the director Cheryl Kozera, who always makes sure we have all the tools possible to have the best weekend ever. To Natalie Carrier, I wouldn’t have been able to hit that stage with a smile on my face if it weren’t for your awesome advice.
Although I didn’t walk away with the title of Ms. Regional Canada, I walked away with a title that makes my heart feel whole. Being called for the Ms. Friendship award in my division just meant I went there and accomplished something I wanted to do most, which was be my best self, make people laugh and make lasting friendships.
Still can’t believe the weekend is over, it went by way too fast! Although my title of Ms. Blind River 2024 is over, you can bet as soon as applications open for 2025 I will be representing my beautiful town once again on this empowering national stage.
So dont go far !!! There is more yet to come ❤️
