One of my favourite things about an Okanagan spring? Always the magnolias. 🌸

Brighter mornings, shorts in the afternoon, tulips that grow like weeds, the smell of damp air (for once) and patios reopening are all a close second.

We’re so lucky!

You hit your mid thirties, and suddenly you find yourself at the local diner every Saturday 🥞👵🏼

Okanagan Street Food isn’t fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s elevated comfort food and it’s damn near perfect every single time!

You’ll find Keith (the owner) in the kitchen crafting each dish by hand — some OG menu items, and some with a Mexican twist 💃🏼

Our faves:

🥂 The guava mimosa
🥞 The pancakes
🪇 Huevos rancheros
🍳 The breakfast sandwich (because it has pico)
🌶️ The hot sauce wall of fame (literally, a wall full of hot sauces)

OKGN — you better believe this is one of the BEST diners around.

Brews that get around! (in a good way)🤭

The sky’s the limit with Danny’s custom hot, cold & go brews at and he makes MILES all over the okgn in his mobile espresso bar! 🚌💨

He parks at the best local spots in town — you can find him open house today!🍷☕️ He also serves at the Kelowna Farmers’ Market year round.

My personal fave: a custom vanilla latte with oat milk & a tink of sweetness (he makes it whatever way you like it!)🤘🏻

Pro tip: buy a pack of his plant-based draught cans and keep the cold ones on hand when you’re in need of a pick me up.

A final ode to summer 🫡

Yes, I KNOW… summer’s out, autumn’s in 🥲

But lucky for us, Niche Wine Company is a four-season humble abode!

This husband & wife duo have created QUITE the hilltop paradise over in the west!

Niche is a cheeky little winery with a modern farmhouse flare and AIRBNB’s you can rent! Sip and stay year-round.✨

THE OWNERS:

JAMES. I swear this man sleeps in his tractor? 🤷🏼‍♀️ He’s always working! And it goes to show! Surrounded by lavender, vines and forest, the Niche property is always immaculate and with one look, I promise you will know what I mean.

JOANNA. Is an absolute stunner (*slight girl crush*) and is always there to greet you with her bubbly energy, yet she is just as busy running around helping James or tending to members and tasters.

But wait… that’s not even the best part.

NICHE PERKS I KNOW & LOVE:

🦮 PET-FRIENDLY inside & out. Miss strawberries loves to frolic through the fields (although, I don’t think they know this 😬).

POV: You’re in your car changing into your suit, but suddenly the winds turn, and all you see is Bler Rusha ‘calmly panicking’ trying to retrieve all our props from the lake. 🤣

You all know just how fast the weather can turn in the valley and this floatie never stood a chance. 🕊️

Bler and I promised these good samaritans a proper shout out, and now we’re delivering!

Thank YOU to the couple who spotted our floatie halfway across the lake & delivered it back to us while we hid from the storm.

It’s never a dull moment when you get to hang with and it’s really no surprise that she STILL GOT THE SHOTS 📸 😇

What a beautiful disaster 💫

The only feast you need 🍽️

(Aka. all my fave pieces combined) 🤌🏻

This market mama has been a personal fave for almost a decade!! My pearl coloured gemstone anklet has literally been through hell & back and somehow it’s still hangin on after FIVE friggin years! A piece of advice – take it off when you shave your legs. 😅

Blood, sweat, and tears go into each of Jackie’s pieces and BOY, does it ever show.

Each piece is hand cut, hammered and carefully placed. She even makes custom fine jewelry, which I’ve gifted to friends & family over the years. It’s the perfect gift for those who have experienced love, loss, and all the in between. 🤍 Jackie!! I hope you know just how much you’ve made such a difference in the lives of people that I love!
