I'm not here to tell you those don't work because they ALL DO.

The main factors are quality and quantity of outreach.

You don't want to over personalize something, spending an 15 minutes on each person you message and sending them an essay hoping they'll respond.

You also don't want to send a message that's super vague and boring like "I help people sell their homes for good prices, let me know if interested".

You have to find a balance, use their name, maybe mention something you noticed or know about them casually and then you'll be wasting a lot less time! Of course, paid advertising is the best way by far to get great results, but doing the work for free, you can still get good results!
