A quick but important note for anyone with a WordPress website.

A critical security flaw has just been made public in Avada — one of the most popular website themes in the world, and very likely the one your site was built on if it came from an agency in the last few years.

On an unpatched site, someone can take it over remotely. No password needed, nothing for you to click. It's rated 9.8 out of 10 for severity.

The fix arrived Monday: update the Avada theme to 7.16.1 and the Fusion Builder plugin to 3.16.1. You need both — the theme alone won't do it.
