Ontario has a major opportunity to strengthen its economy by modifying the outdated small business tax system.

New CFIB analysis shows that if the Ontario government were to invest in:

📉 Lowering the small business tax rate, it would provide immediate relief to a staggering 350,000 entrepreneurs across the province. These are the businesses that keep local economies running, create jobs and drive community growth.

📈 Raising the outdated income threshold would support more than 22,000 small businesses that are currently penalized for expanding. Updating this is one of the simplest ways to reward growth instead of discouraging it.

CFIB continues to call for practical, measurable changes that put small business at the centre of Ontario’s economic agenda.
