Last month, we shared this incredible mural we installed for CHCH, but bringing a mural to life on a brick surface is no easy task.

To create that convincing painted on appearance, we used controlled heat to carefully form the material around the grooves of the brick, into the mortar, and around various obstructions. Every step required precision and care to ensure the printed image did not distort, melt, or warp improperly while still adhering effectively to the surface.

Before taking on the final installation, we created a test piece and put it to work on our very own wall. Once we knew the process worked, we were ready to bring the full mural to life.

It is a great example of how the right printing and installation techniques can transform even the most challenging surfaces.

When you have multiple buildings or entrances, finding the right address can quickly become confusing. The right wayfinding signage can make navigating your space simple, clear, and stress free.

Take our shop for example. We had an old sign that needed to be covered, so we turned the challenge into an opportunity. This large format sign not only covers the existing signage, but also helps guide our clients to the right location.

Thursdays are always a great time to look back at some of our favourite projects, like this incredible wall mural we created for TV.

This project is a perfect example of how creative artwork, print, and installation can completely transform a space. When it comes to large format printing, understanding scale is one of the most important steps in preparing a successful file.
Working with vector artwork? That is a great start. Vector graphics can be scaled without losing quality, but keeping artwork clean and optimized can make exporting and processing much smoother. Using raster images in your design? Be sure to check that the resolution is high enough to maintain sharp detail at the final print size.
