I recently created a free Small Business Workflow Assessment.
It takes about 5–10 minutes and is designed to help identify where a business may be losing time, leads, follow-ups, or consistency.
The goal isn’t to throw AI at everything.
The goal is to find one or two practical areas where a better workflow could save time, reduce manual work, or improve response time.
If you run a small business and feel like too many things still depend on memory, sticky notes, spreadsheets, or “I’ll get to it later,” this may be worth completing.

AI doesn’t have to be complicated.
For most small businesses, the best place to start is not with a fancy tool.
It’s with one question:
Where are we losing time every single week?
That might be follow-ups, scheduling, quotes, inventory, reporting, customer questions, or manual admin.
Once you know where the friction is, you can build a workflow around it.
That’s why I created a free Small Business Workflow Assessment.
It’s designed to help business owners spot practical opportunities for automation without the overwhelm.

A missed lead doesn’t always look like a missed lead.
Sometimes it looks like:
“I’ll reply after this job.”
“I’ll send that quote tonight.”
“I’ll follow up tomorrow.”
“I know I wrote that down somewhere.”
Then the day gets away from you.
For many small businesses, the problem isn’t effort. It’s the lack of a simple workflow that catches things before they fall through the cracks.
That’s where practical AI workflows can help.
I’ve created a free Small Business Workflow Assessment to help identify where time, leads, and follow-ups may be getting lost.

This started as a small fix…

…but it turned into something that will save hours every single week.

Before:
Managing product labels meant pre-printing, sorting, and digging through folders to find the right ones. It worked—but it took time, and mistakes could happen.

After:
I built a simple workflow that reads a wish list, matches item numbers to labels, flags any issues, and prepares everything ready to print.

No searching.
No guessing.
No wasted time.

What I’ve realized through this process is this:

Most inefficiencies in a business aren’t caused by lack of effort…
they’re caused by workflows that haven’t been updated.

This is just one example.

Now I’m starting to look at everything differently.

Where else is time being lost just because “that’s how it’s always been done”?

If you’ve got a process like this in your business, I’d be curious to hear what it is.
