I've been wanting to do this Disney post for some time now! This April we went to a family trip to Disneyland 🏰🎡. I surprised my kiddos with an Easter Scavenger Hunt and the treasure at the end was the Disneyland tickets...FUN! I'll have to share the video as my 10 year old got so emotional when she found out we were going to Disney.

This was the first time in Disneyland for us all and we had such a great time and I will share some of the highlights over the week.

BUT FIRST….

I've put together a list of some of the most useful tips for planning a Disneyland vacation to help you save time and money.

𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀. It is very hard to do Disney land in 1 day. Disney land has two full theme parks (Disneyland and Disney California Adventure) and even if you had all day it would be very hard to do each park.

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱. First of all, before you even arrive at the park, you’ll want to download the Disneyland app for useful information like attraction wait times, park maps and access to mobile food orders.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀. We started our day at Disneyland park to get into the Disney spirit with classic attractions, such as King Arthur Carrousel, Mickey and Minnie's railroad, Snow White’s Enchanted and Peter Pan’s Flight.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸. Our hotel was within walking distance so we able to able get to the park as it open for rope drop and go on the popular rides before the lines built up. If you can, purchase the lightning passes to jump the queue. Being close to the park also mean that we could take an afternoon break and head back in the evening for the amazing show and of course the firework.

𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼-𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀. I highly recommend purchasing the Disney PhotoPass. It allowed us to get some memorable family photos to from the onsite photographers that we will look at for years to come.

Lastly, there are lots of blogs out there that share strategies on how to schedule the rides to minimize wait time. Because I have FOMO (fear of missing out) I created a schedule of my own based on my research.

Hey friends! Typing with only one hand is really really slow y’all 🤣… I got hurt on a bike ride with my family a few weeks ago. I ended up with a tear in my rotator cuff which significantly limited my range of motion in my arm (my dominant arm of course ☹️). It’s been a painful but the recovery’s been good.

And honestly, I feel like I got lucky… It could have been much worse. So I’ve been absent because I needed some time to heal…as many know mom’s don’t get holidays 😅.
Of course the beauty of having a passive business is that I don’t need to be glued to a phone or screen 24/7.

It’s hard sometimes not to get distracted or discouraged when life throws some bumps your way but do.not.quit. Rather try to find inspiration in the everyday chaos.

I’m ready to get back out there, and I hope y’all will hop back on for the ride.
