Officially open for business 🚜🌾
Once the big pieces were built, it was time for the details that made this display truly interactive.
The team painted and finished the oversized crops, installed lighting, screens, controls and signage, and pulled all the moving parts together into one hands-on experience.
Then came the best part, watching people explore it.
From climbing into the grain truck to learning where Alberta crops end up, this one was made to be touched, explored and enjoyed.
A fun build from start to finish, and even better seeing it in action.

From foam blocks to farm country 🚜🌾
This interactive display started with sketches, stacks of foam and a whole lot of carving.
From the oversized truck and tractor with giant tires, wheat and all the little details in between, the team shaped each piece by hand before the colour and finishing work began.
There’s still plenty more to come, but this is where the transformation starts.

From the shop to the exhibition 🐝🌼
The bees got their stripes, the flowers got a serious growth spurt, and the whole exhibit officially left the hive. 😄
For the final part of our Calgary and District Beekeepers Association build, we added the colour, texture and finishing details that pulled everything together, from oversized bees and flowers to the honeycomb-inspired features and custom display elements.
Then it was off to the exhibition, where the finished booth was buzzing with visitors. 🐝

This year, it became part of Le Cirque de la Nuit incredible Calgary Stampede performance.

✈️ The final approach... and she's ready for takeoff!
After weeks of designing, carving, painting, assembling, and adding the finishing touches, the YYC Calgary International Airport Stampede Parade Float was ready to roll.
From oversized luggage and commercial aircraft to the control tower and custom YYC signage, every detail was handcrafted by our incredible team to celebrate one of Canada's busiest airports on one of Calgary's biggest stages.
Seeing it all come together, and then take its place in the Stampede Parade, made every late night and every bit of foam worth it.

✈️ From foam blocks to flight-ready... well, almost. 😉
Every great float starts with a vision, and a whole lot of foam.
Here's Part 1 of our behind-the-scenes look at the fabrication of the YYC Calgary International Airport Stampede Parade Float. From oversized luggage and aircraft to airport details and custom props, our team transformed this into a parade-ready experience, one piece at a time.

Meet Glen. 👹
Like all great monsters, Glen started as a giant pile of foam and a slightly questionable idea. 😂
Then came the cutting. The carving. The sculpting. The coating. The painting. And probably a few moments of wondering what exactly we had created.
Slowly but surely, Glen came to life, one giant tooth, eyeball and terrifyingly colourful detail at a time.
The final touch? A bench placed directly through his mouth, because apparently Glen prefers his meals with somewhere to sit. 😅

From raw foam to one seriously unforgettable monster, this is the kind of weird, wild and wonderfully creative fabrication we live for.
And judging by the attention Glen got at the we think he enjoyed his day out. 🤠

The Calgary Stampede Parade is one of our favourite days of the year... and this one was extra special. 🤠🎉

Seeing so many of the floats we built rolling through downtown Calgary was an incredible feeling. Months of design, sculpting, carving, painting, and problem-solving all came together for one unforgettable morning.

But we weren't just there to cheer on our own work.
Our team showed up with tools, supplies, touch-up paint, zip ties (lots of zip ties 😅), and an extra set of hands for anyone who needed it. Because that's what this community is all about, helping each other put on an amazing show.
Huge thank you to all of our clients, partners, and everyone who trusted us to help bring their ideas to life. We can't wait to see what we build next!

From a concept ... to a truck with personality. 😎🚚
This is the moment everything came together! Every piece was carved, painted, airbrushed, assembled, and brought together by our incredible team for Stampede Moving & Storage's Calgary Stampede Parade float.
From the smiling truck and oversized cowboy hat 🤠 to the hand-painted signpost and rolling prairie hills. It's these finishing touches that turn a build into a story.
