Cottonwood Creative is excited to share that Founder and Chief Strategist of Social Impact Parker Johnson has been selected as a delegate for the Canadian Business Trade Mission to Bogotá, Colombia this week (March 17–20). This mission is supported by the Canadian Q***r Chamber of Commerce (CQCC), the Government of Canada, and the Canadian Embassy in Bogotá. We are thankful for the chance to represent Canadian entrepreneurship abroad. Our hope is to make the most of it in a way that’s people-first and genuinely collaborative. 🇨🇦↔️🇨🇴
At its core, this mission is about relationship-building: connecting Canadian diverse-owned businesses with buyers, suppliers, talent, and partners in Colombia, and opening doors for collaboration that can grow over time.
For us, participating is a natural step to explore ways we can continue to scale sustainably while staying true to our mission: helping social impact organizations communicate with clarity and credibility, while drawing the circle wider to include more creative partners from more places. Our team is already distributed across Canada, the USA, and Chile, and this trip is about deepening that approach through in-person connection and stable, win-win partnerships that benefit all parties.
While we’re in Bogotá, we’re not just hoping to meet established firms—we’d love to connect with freelance creatives too. This is a people-first trip, and we’re only interested in partnerships that are mutual, fair, and genuinely win-win.
If you’re based in Colombia (or work closely with organizations there) and you’re curious about partnering (whether that’s Canadian market entry support, shared delivery, white-label collaboration, or freelance work) we’d love to connect while Parker is in Bogotá.
