*THE RIGHT FOUNDATION FOR FAITH*

For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Do you want to live the Christian life according to the Bible? Then youve got to know and follow the Word for yourself and live by it, not your feelings. Feelings and personal experiences are not the basis for faith. God never designed us to rely on experiences. Our faith is founded on His Word.

People often describe different sensations they feel when the power of God is manifested. Some say they felt something cold, others say they felt something hot. Some say they were shaking, and others say they became stiff and couldnt move. These are personal experiences peculiar to different individuals.

Therefore, its not right for anyone to make a doctrine out of their personal experience. The Bible never says you must feel anything when the power of God is working in you, on you, or through you. The Word doesnt base divine realities on sensations. Theyre activated by faith. No matter the feeling you may have, focus on the Word, on the result, that Gods grace has met your need. A beautiful example is the woman with the issue of blood. The Bible records that the moment she touched the hem of the Masters garment, straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague (Mark 5:29).

Notice that her testimony of the feeling was that she was healed. That is the kind of testimony that matters; the best report is to know and testify that you are healed. Thats the Words report and provides the right foundation for faith. Faith is the expectation of the fulfilment of Gods Word and acting accordingly, and youll enjoy the results that the Word guarantees.

*PRAYER*
Dear Father, thank you for your Word that guides my life and establishes my faith. My confidence is anchored in your truth, and I walk in the reality of your Word today. My faith is strong, my spirit is confident, and my life produces faith-based results because I live by your Word, in Jesus Name. Amen.

*FURTHER STUDY*
Romans 10:17 KJV So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Mark 11:23 KJV For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Hebrews 11:1 KJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 10:38 KJV Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

*THE POWER IS WITHIN YOU*
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11)

What a profound Scripture we just read! So, the question is, "Who lives in you?" Is it the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead? If yes, then your physical body is no longer death-doomed or death-prone; rather, it’s been invigorated and made alive by the Holy Spirit. The power that made this happen isn’t residing in heaven but within you.

When you read Ephesians 1:19, it talks about the exceeding greatness of this mighty power. Then Ephesians 3:20 lets us know also that this power works within you:“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”

Many people describe experiences where they felt the power of God come upon them like a jacket. The feeling can make it seem like something landed from outside. But if something were truly coming from above and you didn’t see it, you wouldn’t know it came from above until you felt it. And the only reason you assumed it came from above was because you couldn’t explain it physically, yet you felt something on you.

But the reality is deeper than the feeling. The power of God is within you and works from within you, not from outside. Everything in the New Testament reveals that we’re different from those in the Old Testament. We don’t receive power from outside us as they did. We’re filled with the Spirit.

That’s why the New Testament reality is not to cry for power to come down but to live with the consciousness that the Spirit lives within you in all His power, glory and might. When you understand this, it transforms your confidence; your prayer life changes because you realise that you’re the carrier of divine power. Live from this standpoint, and you’ll manifest the supernatural consistently and effortlessly.

*PRAYER*
Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives in me. I walk in the consciousness of His divine power that’s effectual in my spirit, soul and body. Being full of His might, I manifest the glory and perfections of Christ as I preach the Gospel with boldness and confidence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

*THE ESSENCE OF DIVINE LOVE*
..he that hath seen me hath seen the Father… (John 14:9).

People have used the word “love” for generations without capturing or understanding the true essence of its meaning. Even the Greek word “agape,” which is one of the translations of the word love, was known before Christ came. Yet, human definitions never captured the essence of divine love.

The Lord Jesus gave meaning to love. When you saw Him, you saw Love in action. He’s the manifestation of God’s love. The Bible says, “...God is love” (1 John 4:8). Love was tabernacled in human flesh in Jesus Christ. When He preached in the temple, as Luke 4:16-21 tells us, it was God’s love in action.

He read from the scroll of Isaiah and declared, “This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears,” revealing His mission to bring salvation, healing, and love into the world. Then He acted it. He healed the sick, opened blind eyes, fed the multitude, and raised the dead. That was God’s love in display.

Matthew 14:14 says, “And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.” His compassion drove Him to heal the sick, showing that love and mercy were at the very heart of His ministry.

Even when He drove out the money changers from the temple (read John 2:13-17), that act wasn’t anger but righteous love. His zeal was rooted in love for His Father’s house. When He rebuked Herod as a fox in Luke 13:32, it was a bold expression of truth and love. He was calling out wickedness with righteous authority.

Finally, His lamentation over Jerusalem in Matthew 23:37 shows His deep love and longing for the salvation of His people, “O Jerusalem... how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!” These acts and words reveal that the life of the Master was a perfect manifestation of divine love.

Love is not defined by human sentiment, emotion, weakness, or permissiveness. Love is the person of Jesus Christ revealed to us. He was fully God and fully man. The more you know Him through the Word and by the Spirit, the clearer your understanding of love. And as you walk in His nature, you become the manifestation of God’s love to your world.

*PRAYER*
Dear Father, thank you for sending Jesus as the full expression of your unfailing love. His life in me is the life of love. I walk in the light of His Word and express His character; through me, many experience your love, compassion, grace, and transforming power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

*FURTHER STUDY*
1 John 4:9 KJV
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

John 13:34 KJV
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 15:12-13 KJV
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

*ALWAYS FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT*

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit_ (Ephesians 5:18)

It's God's desire that you live continually filled with the Spirit, and the Bible tells us how in the ensuing verses 19 to 21 of our opening scripture: "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God."

How profound that He'd list for us what we're to do in getting ourselves perpetually filled with the Spirit! It's up to you to put this to practice every day in your personal life. It'll keep you above agitation, fear and worry. Those who aren't often filled with the Spirit are easily troubled and uneasy, looking for someone to blame or somewhere to vent their frustrations.

But when you live full of the Spirit, you remain joyful, peaceful and at ease. You don't struggle; your faith prevails. You function from a place of divine supply, strength and wisdom.

Every day, stay continually stirred, stimulated and spiritually minded. It's your responsibility to remain in that atmosphere. There, everything is permanent, unshaken, and eternal. From that realm, you govern circumstances and rule over situations. You're consistently aglow and afire by the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*
Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of being continually filled with the Spirit. I maintain the glow of the Spirit in my life as I walk in the consciousness of your righteousness, glory, beauty, excellence and eternal life within me. I live from the realm of the Spirit and dominate my world with your power and glory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

*FURTHER STUDY:*
Ephesians 5:18-21 AMPC And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit. 19 Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices [and instruments] and making melody with all your heart to the Lord, 20 At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father. 21 Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

2 Corinthians 4:16-1
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory; *18* While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.

*RICH IN CHRIST*

📖 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).

The Word of God is clear: poverty is not from God; therefore, you should never accept the message of poverty. Poverty is inconsistent with our divine nature and heritage in Christ. The Bible shows clearly that the Lord Jesus became poor, in contrast to His true wealth, for one purpose: that you might become rich.

That’s what we read in our opening scripture. It wasn’t referring to spiritual riches; the Lord Jesus was never poor spiritually. The context is financial and material blessings. He laid aside all that belonged to Him so that through His substitutionary work, you would come into prosperity and financial abundance.

Some may say that God isn’t interested in making His children rich, but the Word already declares His will. In Christ, you’re an heir of God. All things are yours. Some may choose not to enjoy them, but they should never claim that poverty is God’s plan. The blessing of God brings prosperity, supply, and supernatural advantage.

Let’s for a moment review and ponder the magnitude of what belongs to us, our riches in Christ, as stated in Ephesians 3:8. Paul, by the Spirit, writes, “To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God’s consecrated people), this grace (favor, privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out]” (AMPC).

Our riches are unsearchable, beyond quantification, exhaustless, boundless, and incalculable. This is the kind of wealth you’ve been called to enjoy. It’s Kingdom wealth—superior to earthly economics—and it’s yours now in Christ Jesus. Therefore, refuse to think lack. Refuse to talk scarcity. Live with the consciousness of your divine inheritance.

Every so often, say to yourself, “I have unsearchable riches in Christ. All things are mine. I walk in abundance, and I give lavishly into the Gospel for the advancement of the Kingdom.” Hallelujah!

*🙏PRAYER*
Dear Father, thank you for the unsearchable riches of Christ that belong to me. I walk in divine supply, abundance, and I’m empowered to give, to bless, and to cause the Gospel to spread everywhere. I reject lack and embrace the fullness of your provision, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

1 Corinthians 3:21-23; Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's; [22] whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your's; [23] and ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
