June Recap 🤍

June was a month.

I closed out the month at $3,742.93 CAD, and honestly, I’m so proud of that.

Especially considering the amount of obstacles I’ve faced in my business this month. Between restrictions, losing access to my main accounts, relying on backup accounts, and still trying to figure out the loopholes around everything happening in the online space, it would’ve been really easy to let it stop me.

But we pivot.

We don’t let obstacles freeze us. We adjust, we keep moving, and we keep showing up for the goals God has placed on our hearts.

The reality is, I actually worked less this month because of everything going on. I also intentionally took about a week off to spend precious time with my sister who flew in from the U.S. Since we live in different countries, those moments are something I never take for granted.

And somehow, despite all of that, June still ended stronger than I expected.

More than the income, what makes me proud are the women who decided to bet on themselves this month. Every mama who started her journey, every message, every win, every step toward creating a life with more options, more freedom, and more presence.

Because that’s what this has always been about for me.

Helping moms create a life where they don’t have to choose between being present with their families and having financial stability.

Presence over pressure.

More dinners around the table.
More yeses to family memories.
Less stress over bills.
More peace knowing there’s another stream of income working for your family.

None of this happens without God.

Every opportunity, every lesson, every obstacle, every blessing, He’s been in all of it. He’s my provider, and I’m so grateful that He placed this opportunity in my life and gave me the desire to share it with others.

I know this path isn’t for everyone.

But I know, without a doubt, it’s for me.

Here’s to trusting the process, continuing to pivot when life calls for it, and helping more moms build lives filled with presence over pressure. 🤍

For a long time, I thought success meant sounding like everyone else.

Using the same hooks.
Filming the same videos.
Trying to keep up with people who were years ahead of me.

It was exhausting.

The biggest shift in my business didn’t happen because I found some magic strategy.

It happened when I stopped trying to be someone else.

I started sharing my story.

The messy postpartum days.
The beauty business that fell apart.
The fear.
The faith.
The victories.
The hard seasons.
The life I’m building with my babies.

Because the truth is…

Nobody else has your story.
Nobody else has your voice.
Nobody else has lived what you’ve lived.

And that’s your greatest advantage.

Mama, if you’re building something right now, stop worrying about whether someone else is doing what you’re doing.

They can never do it the way you will.

The women who are meant to hear your story will connect with your story, not someone else’s.

Stay humble.
Stay obedient.
Stay authentic.

God didn’t call you to blend in.

He called you to steward what He uniquely gave you.

That’s where the impact is.
And that’s where the growth follows. 🤍

I got paid $200 to take a selfie with a hair tool.

No talking.
No going viral.
No “influencer” energy.

Just me holding a product and sending the photo to a brand. That’s it.

And that’s literally what UGC is.

You create simple content for brands
→ they use it for their marketing
→ you get paid.

It doesn’t need to be complicated.
It doesn’t need to take hours.

This took me not even 5 minutes.

And before you think, “I’m not comfortable on camera”. You don’t even have to be.

There are people making money:
✨ fully faceless
✨ using hands-only content
✨ filming products without showing their face

This is honestly one of the easiest ways to get started online without overthinking everything.

No following needed.
No posting required.
No announcing it to the world.

Just learning a skill that pays.

This is for the mom who is just, done.

Done pulling into the grocery store and checking her bank account before she even walks in.

Done putting things back at checkout because there just isn’t enough.

Done saying “not today” to something as small as a dollar store toy or an ice cream.

Done feeling that pit in her stomach every single time money comes up.

I was her.

And what people don’t understand is, being broke isn’t just about money. It’s how it consumes your thoughts, your energy and your identity.

All I used to think about was,
“How am I going to make more?”
“How do I get out of this?”
“Why does it feel like I can’t catch a break?”

It was exhausting. And one day, I hit a point where I knew I cannot keep living like this. So I took a chance. Not because I had extra money. Not because I felt ready. But because I was more scared of staying the same than I was of trying something new.

So if you’re reading this and it feels a little too familiar, this is your sign that something has to shift.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to decide you’re not staying here anymore.

One thing that genuinely helped me stay home after becoming a mom was I stopped treating my phone like entertainment and started treating it like a tool.

Instead of scrolling for hours, I started learning skills that could actually pay me from home.

Even 30 minutes a day. Even during naps. Even while contact napping or breastfeeding.

That consistency changed everything for me.

Because the truth is, most moms don’t need another 12-hour shift.

They need a skill.

A skill that gives them the ability to contribute financially without sacrificing every moment with their baby.

I know how crippling the thought of returning to work after mat leave can feel.

The daycare costs. The separation. The guilt. The anxiety of missing milestones. The feeling of getting only the tired leftover version of yourself at the end of the day.

So if staying home with your baby is deeply on your heart, start NOW.

Not when you feel ready. Not when life gets less busy. Not when fear disappears.

Start learning the skills now so future you has options. That decision alone is changing the entire trajectory of my life.

I don’t pray for followers.

I pray that God ushers in the women and mamas who need this opportunity the same way I once did.

The mom who desperately wants to be home with her babies and doesn’t want someone else watching them while she works all day just to survive.

The mom who wants to help contribute financially so the weight isn’t sitting entirely on her partner’s shoulders.

The mom who wants to walk into a grocery store without anxiety. The mom who’s tired of deciding which bill can wait another week. The mom who’s done borrowing from Peter to pay Paul just trying to stay afloat.

Because I know that pressure. I know what it feels like when money consumes your thoughts, your peace, and your confidence.

And I also know what it feels like to finally see a way out.

That’s why I do what I do.

Not because I think this is “easy.”Not because it magically fixes everything overnight.

But because learning a new skill and saying yes to an opportunity completely changed the trajectory of my life and my family.
