Rating how scary the first year of building a marketing agency really was 👻

Spoiler: pretty terrifying.

There have been so many "is this actually going to work?" moments since our founders quit their jobs and went full-time on Aces and Oak. Hard lessons learned. Systems rebuilt (more than once). Tough conversations about delegation, boundaries, and what our work is actually worth.

Every late night, and gut-check moment has shaped where we are now and where we're heading next. And hey… isn't that the whole point?

Here's to many more "scary moments" building our marketing company🥂

Throwback to when we almost got our client BANNED from IG...

The strategy was all about storytelling, not just a boring 'coming soon' post. And it worked... too well...😅

Our client started following 100's of people back causing IG to flag the activity as a bot and locked us all out of the account... Thank goodness we got the account back the same day, however the client was not able to engage with their followers for over a week because of it...

A huge lesson learned at our agency👉 Don't follow hundreds of accounts at once, even if your account is blowing up. Instagram is ON IT with the bots.
