One of my 🫶lovely🫶 clients shared a REEL and message saying "Hey Amanda, these are the kinds of posts that don't align with our biz and I'm not interested in this type of content."

The REEL in question was from a biz making fun of their customers. 🤔

Uh ya. I agreed and reassured her that's a 'content bucket' we won't touch.

Because of this DM, the flood gates opened and the algo started to show me more and more of these kinds of "funny" posts where businesses made fun of or called out customers and clients. 🫣

I started to wonder about this. Have we as biz owners lost the plot? Are we rage baiting for views? Do we think any laugh is a good laugh for our socials?

Content should be doing 1 of these 2 things in 2026.

👩‍🏫 Educating your audience

It should never make your audience feel stupid, guilty or scared to reach out.
