16 years.

Sixteen years ago, I started Roadway Traffic Supplies Ltd. with one goal:

To build something my family could be proud of.

For the first five years, I did it alone.

Every quote.
Every delivery.
Every invoice.
Every late night.

There were days I questioned everything—but quitting was never an option.

Then came one of the biggest decisions of our lives.

My wife, Bobbi-Jo, had spent 20 years building a career at UPS. I asked her to leave the security of that job and take a chance on a business that was still fighting to find its footing.

It wasn’t an easy decision.

But she believed in us.

Today, 16 years later, we still work side by side, building Roadway Traffic Supplies Ltd. together.

A few months ago, I joined Dan Martell’s Elite coaching program because I wanted to learn how to grow smarter—not just work harder.

This week, Dan came to Moncton.

Instead of asking for a photo or an autograph, I gave him something that represents who we are:

A custom, municipal-grade reflective street sign reading:

Dan Martell Way.

We manufactured it in our shop in Dieppe—the same way we produce signs for municipalities, contractors and roadbuilders across Atlantic Canada.

When Dan saw it, he lifted it over his head like a trophy.

Then he smiled and said:

Nobody has ever given me a gift at one of my events.

As I walked away, he patted me on the back and said:

Awesome. Good job.

Only a few words.

But after 16 years of betting on ourselves…

After asking my wife to leave a secure career to build this dream with me…

After thousands of early mornings, late nights and risks that most people never saw…

Those words meant more than I can explain.

To every entrepreneur still in the middle of the grind:
