Here are some great tips as to what you should have in your 72 hour emergency kit should this storm be as bad as it could potentially be.

As the City prepares itself for the forecasted severe weather over the weekend, we encourage residents to do the same.
Take a few minutes to ensure that items around the yard are stored or tied down.
Stock up on essentials, to include in your 72-hour household kit. www.getprepared.gc.ca.
If you see any downed trees or large branches on public property, please contact our 24/7 Dispatch line at 859-2643.
Many outdoor events throughout the city have been postponed or cancelled. Please check with the organizer before heading out.
Codiac Transpo will be running its regular service. Any changes will be communicated immediately.
Our Municipal Emergency Measures Organization will be monitoring the situation throughout the weekend and will provide an update on this page as required.
