The Sault Community Career Centre helps match employees to employers in the simplest way possible. They do all the heavy lifting for the businesses hiring who are too busy for paperwork, and they guide employees on available programs that make them more hireable, whether by upgrading skills or getting your wages partially paid by the government to make you cheaper.

We’ll be polling voters impressions of these programs, whether they’re aware of them, what their experience was like using them, and if they didn’t know about them, do they think they provide important value knowing now all the things they do.

Public health policy is an area where public opinion data is really volatile over time. As time passes, opinions have evolved over the policies, their effectiveness, and their downsides. Many also felt person splintering of families and friendships over disagreements are still sore for many Canadians, and Saulites are no exception.

We’ll be doing a big public policy poll in our group as our first opinion survey, and it will cover this decision to keep the Sault under Saultite jurisdiction, and not outsourced to another climate hundreds of kilometres and hours of driving away.

I was proud to be a part of the Algoma Public Health board unanimous vote against a potential merger, and will continue to advocate for our community/in opposition to such a move. linktr.ee/mayorshoemaker
