Great article in Canada's national public broadcaster this weekend.
I work with clients to help them create a steady stream of authentic reviews from real customers. Google's lack of responsiveness and willingness to eliminate these fake negative reviews is hurting company's reputations and bottom line. Reading Google reviews is one of the key ways we all evaluate businesses these days. Sure wish they'd fix this.

Using data gathering and analysis techniques, a CBC News Investigation has catalogued just a portion of one fake review network on Google's My Business pages — 208 fake accounts that posted 3,574 fake reviews for 1,279 businesses across North America.
