Last night, at approximately 10:30 pm we lost my beatiful sister to cancer. She was surrounded by family at that time. It was discovered she had breast cancer about 4 years ago and she suffered so much but she fought hard. This past Septmeber the cancer moved into her brain and it was just too much for her frail little body to handle. For those of you who knew her you would know she was absolutely passionate about everything she did, her beliefs and her relationships. She was also the most generous of souls. Giving was her love language and she did this lavishly. Her absolute joy though was her two daughters, Brogan and Lachlaine. She loved them so dearly. Over the past four years she got the chance to spend more time with family and I know that was important to her as well. I could go on forever about 'mine big sister' but I'll leave it at she passes with the love of those she leaves behind and we are so lucky to have had her in our lives. We are better people because of it. As my niece put it...hug someone you love today. I'll repeat that and add not to let petty little grievances get in your way of showing your love because you just never know how much time you have. We were lucky, we got to say our goodbyes. She's with Dad now.
