Yellow Pencil

Yellow Pencil Helping you get better at the web one problem at a time. Web strategy, user experience, web design, Hi! We're Yellow Pencil. What do they have in common?

We've been in business since 1996, working with big (and big-ish) organizations all over North America. They're doing something bold: changing how they work and communicate online. We focus on cities and governments, transportation and transit, financial services, and post-secondary education. We'll work with you to find the right mix of services for your needs. We do interaction design, user expe

rience (UX) design, content strategy, CMS development, hosting, support, and more. Over the years we've become experts in four core content management technologies: OpenText Web Site Management, Drupal, Oracle WebCenter, and Ingeniux. Our projects go through our patented (okay, not exactly patented) Yellow Pencil 4D Process. We get to know you through our lean discovery process, then get to work in iterative, agile design and development teams.

In 10 days some of my Edmonton team and I will be walking to fundraise as part of the Coldest Night of the Year event. Here in Edmonton, funds will be donated to The Mustard Seed, a group that's been working in Alberta for many years to support those in need. My mom was even Exec Director of the Edmonton chapter at one point. If you've got a buck or two, we're trying to raise $500. Check it out!

The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Team up, fundraise, walk, and look closer... because it’s cold out there.

Sure Facebook can recognize your face. So can your dog, probably (we're no dog scientists, but it seems truthy). But can Facebook tell me when I have jam on my face?
