After 19 years it’s time to close down fusedlogic.

The fusedlogic inc. brand has had a great run but it’s time to retire it.

I’ve thought long and hard about my personal happiness and running a digital agency frankly just hasn’t been interesting to me for years. No passion = no growth and time and money wasted. Means ultimately the business will fail.

So then why continue to do it? Ego? Nostalgia? I had to learn to be true to myself and let go.

As a company we blazed some awesome trails in analytics, live video streaming, social engagement, open data, mobile app development, SEO and more.

More recently I attempted to pivot the brand into artificial intelligence and blockchain. However, the brand was just too entrenched in its past to break free. More on that in the future.

This certainly wasn’t an easy decision. I still have a tough time imagining my life without FLI but it has gotten easier thanks to my wife Erica and the girls.

I want to thank everyone who played a role in the company’s success over the years. Past staff members, contractors, the many customers and of course my family!

We generated millions in revenue for our customers and ourselves over the history of the company and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with such great people!

Many of whom I consider my friends today.

I’m now going to focus on my health, my family and happiness.

I’m definitely going to finish writing my tell all book, consult and take speaking gigs.

My book will take readers behind the scenes of my business, once rated one of the top digital agencies in Canada. Having done business with Microsoft, all three levels of government and countless businesses in multiple industries, I’ve learned a lot and so did our team over the years that you can benefit from.

I’ll describe good deals and bad ones, all in the hopes that you can learn from my experience, my successes and my mistakes.
