If you own a business it is possible that Google will send you a free beacon. This will help keep customers engaged with you on Google Maps. Google is also 'closing' a lot of inactive Google Plus pages. If you haven't been posting you could receive a notice that your Google Plus is being closed, but your map listings will remain intact. I don't know how that works since you cannot manage your map listings without Google My Business, which is a part of Google Plus - perhaps they are separating the two? The notice doesn't explain. By the end of next week Google will be changing how virtual tours are indexed when published. They have released little information. Keep an eye out within Google My Business for new feature options.

- the knowledge graph on Google Search (rolling roll out over a month or so)
