Just had a potential client ask
“why so many questions”
Because I have to take your vision to what you see and turn it into reality, not only that, but a masterpiece to what you have envisioned sitting in your home.
I also have lots of clients that have been to the big mall and talked with laser companies, with that I get
“Wow I’ve never been asked so many great questions, or get to choose so many options for my etching”
One has to take the time to see the clients vision, to be there in the moment with them and make it happen.
This is what you get when you shop small.
You get that extra touch, the conversation, the vision, the choices, etc…

Some of my favourite projects I am asked to do are memorial items for loved ones that have past on, but they are also my least favourite.
Favourite as I get to see the look in their eyes and the vibes they radiant when they first see what I have done
Least favourite as some mourn for their loss and seeing the pain in their eyes also hurts.
This was the first brass cross that has come through the shop. Pretty happy with the results.

Was going to make these from maple, but then an idea struck me as they are for a barbecue competition, so why not make they from butcher block!

I had the honour of attending and helping out on hole 6 with

At an amazing golf course in the heart of the city Truly an honour to be able to take part in such an amazing event, meeting amazing people, and for the bonus was being able to personally give Mr.McDavid his very own custom butcher block.

Had some fun etching some stainless serial number pates today for Nick and Michelle over at where they manufacture and fully customize in house, in Leduc, and from scratch! Truly amazing craftsmanship that is built to last a life time where you can create ever lasting memories while grilling for what ever reason, does one really need a reason to grill though?? Other then to feed belly’s
If you are in the market and like to support local small companies, I highly recommend you stop by in Leduc and see what Nick and Michelle have cookin. About supporting small companies, they are amazing at it as you’ll see when you walk in and see all their local bbq supplies they carry on their shelves.

Custom magnetic knife box, yeah we make those!
Not bad for my first kick! Truly happy with this and the little details I added. Motley Que logo epoxied inside on walnut, the box it’s self is that if Acaica wood, the outer trim is that of walnut as well with on both front and back of the box one right side up and the other upside down so that when Big Joe of walks into a class or competition it’s reads right side up, then when he reveals his tools by opening the box up, test the top of the box facedown to then have right side up. The sides of the box is that if the same matter right side up on one side and not on the other. Also come to light today that it is thank you Mrs Motley for the correction.
What at times parts
The 13th Craft fro others is these simple details. Taking the extra steps to insure our clients are getting that extra personal touch. We even laser etched logo on all three knives on both sides.
Big Joe will be slicing in style now.

This was a fun one! Took a little persuasion on my behalf to get the logo sideways with as the .life.realty logo in my eyes anyways would have been to small and narrow. After it was done she was ecstatic and thanked me for the push. Truly happy with this one, the branding really jumps out!!
