This remarkable 1921 view of Jasper Avenue and 101 Street captures Edmonton in motion, with streetcars, automobiles, pedestrians and even a horse-drawn carriage all sharing the intersection.

More than a century later, it’s a fascinating little window into a downtown that looks both completely different and strangely familiar.

After plenty of requests, our Bike Lane poster is finally available to purchase (rather than borrowing ours permanently 😉).

Featuring a crowd of Edmonton cyclists from 1919 paired with bold green typography, it’s a playful reminder that cycling has always been part of this city’s story. Turns out Edmonton traffic has been a group project for well over a century.
