I was recently asked by the Fulham Community School parent association to create a design for something that means a lot to this community.
Fulham School has been part of Yellowhead County since 1916… and now it’s facing the very real possibility of closing its doors.
Due to declining enrolment and funding challenges, it puts the school below the threshold needed to keep it open.
But this isn’t just about numbers—this is a school that families in the area rely on. There are close to 100 school-aged kids in the Fulham area, and for many, this is their local community school.
My husband went to this school, and like so many others, it holds a lot of memories for local families.
The goal behind this design was to capture that history, that pride, and what Fulham represents to the people who grew up there and still call this area home.
Sometimes design isn’t just about making something look good—it’s about telling a story and helping people rally around something that matters.l
Also a huge shout out to Deb's Creations for making the shirts!
Proud to have been part of this one 🤍
