Our logo now features a new, BOLDER look! We've had several logos representing Oliver Signs since 1960 - so why another change?
The previous script logo I used in 2024 featured a few heart-felt touches. The letter "O" was taken directly from my Grandfather Larry Oliver's handwriting when he wrote "The Original since 1960" for his statement forms. This and combined with my own calligraphy was to represent the creativity, and the work we do by hand. After using the script-like logo, I came to find that it was all too difficult to see at a distance. I'll still use it in the future for special projects.
After some thought and several drafts, this is what I've come up with. The font below is in cooper - a throwback to when my Grandfather had the company name as "Larry Oliver Signs ltd." and "Larry A. OLIVER SIGNS Limited" when the company building was on Talbot St. N. - This sign most of you may remember.
What do you think? What was your most memorable logo? Which one was your favorite over the years? I lok forward to reading your responces!
