Some interesting new developments, I have been migrating my shop over to Redbubble. It's simpler and faster for me to upload new items in many different styles here. Take a look now at some of the old favourites like my YMM Collection along with some new stuff that you may not have seen before. Updates are coming regularly to this new location.

Sometimes the best way to move past creative block is to limit yourself to some simple parameters.

Only use a few colours.

Just choose one lens for your next video.

The options can sometimes overwhelm you into exiting your project completely. When you give yourself a limit, you end up switching into problem solving mode.

What do you do when you suffer from creative block?

In a Cursed alternate Timeline...
I learn on my trip to New Zealand that at one point Quintin Tarentino was set to direct the Lord of the Rings that was going to be compressed into just one movie with VERY ifferent casting. It made me wonder what that might look like. So I give you the Tarantino cut of The Lord of the Rings.

We just wrapped on Season 2 of SmART Kids. With as showrunner, myself directing, and as DOP I think this is going to look better and feel smoother than season 1.
Thank you to everyone who helped out on set to make all of this possible. And to the Oilsands Discovery Centre for hosting us.

Another standout media from this year 🌙

The Edge of Sleep, created by Markiplier, is a perfect example of analog horror done right. It takes a deceptively simple premise and lets it spiral into something tense, eerie, and genuinely fun to unravel.

The setup hooks you immediately, but it’s the atmosphere that carries it. The distorted broadcasts, the creeping sense that something is very wrong, and the constant pressure of staying awake all give it a unique rhythm that keeps you locked in. It never forgets its podcast roots, but the visual style elevates the horror in smart, unsettling ways.

If you like horror that leans on mood, mystery, and that late-night “I should not be watching this alone” feeling, The Edge of Sleep is absolutely worth your time.

Another surprise favorite media from this year 📺⛏️

At first glance, “1000 Players Simulate Civilization: Rich & Poor” by Ish looks niche. It’s entirely filmed inside Minecraft, which feels like it’s waving a big “this is not for you” sign at a lot of people. Ignore that sign. Completely.

This thing is a full-blown epic. Twists, power shifts, genuine drama, and some shockingly beautiful shots and editing that make the world feel alive and cinematic. It keeps escalating in ways you don’t see coming, and somehow turns blocky pixels into something tense, emotional, and deeply watchable.

Yes, it’s two and a half hours long. No, you won’t want to pause it. If you’re choosing between seeing Avatar: Fire and Ash or watching this instead… pick this. Every time.
